Two giant monsters will be under one roof soon!
The King Kong film "Kong: Skull Island was recently moved by Thomas Tull to Warner Bros. It is home to another titan, Godzilla.
Legendary used to collaborate with their major partner Universal to make the movie, however, report said it went back to WB to jump start a crossover between the two giant monster universe. The plan is to shelf "Skull Island," which opens a new opportunity for the humongous ape, and then makes the two giants fight each other.
The " Kong: Skull Island" movie casts, Samuel L Jackson, Tom Wilkinson, Brie Larson, Corey Hawkins and Tom Hiddleston. John C. Reilly on top of the list for another major role, while the script is written by Max Borenstein and John Gatins and Jordan Vogt-Roberts as the director, moreover, the production supposedly to start at the end of this year or early 2016.
" Kong: Skull Island," had been set by Universal to premiere on March 10, 2017 , Imax 3D is included as part of the big plan for the film. From the side of Legendary, executive producers are Alex Garcia and Eric McLeod, while Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent.
Now, that "Kong: Skull Island," is set to start production under Roberts, although his credentials were revolving around comedies, and he also identified to helm the Metal Gear Solid film. On the other hand, Gatins penned "Need for Speed" and "Reel Steel" and Borenstein adapted "Godzilla" and is working on the second installment. Where will all of this leads? Maybe a "Godzilla" sequel stays to be seen, but that movie was previously awaited to premiere in 2018.
