Environmental Advocate 'Erin Brockovich' Listed Her House in Agoura Hills For $2.35 Million

Environmental Advocate Erin Brockovich is finally saying goodbye to her home for 18 years. The property in Agoura Hills is already listed and she is selling for $2.35 Million.

LA Times reports that the famous environmental activist Erin Brockovich, who "conjures an image of actress Julia Roberts as a crusading legal clerk in the 2000 biographical movie," has listed her luxurious Agoura Hills home in the market.

The luxury house In Agoura Hills is a traditional-home style property that was built in 1986. It brags a more or less "5,000 square feet of updated living space,"a fireplace in the living room, 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, and master suite. It also has a guestroom which has its own entrance. Its garage could accommodate 3 cars. The property stood in a half-acre lot that has a great mountain views.

The name Erin Brockovich became famous on the big screen because of her "work in building a drinking water pollution case against Pacific Gas and Electric Co. in the 1990s." As mentioned earlier, Julia Roberts had portrayed her character in the biographical movie. Based on public record, Brockovich, who is now 55 years old, bought the Agoura Hills real estate property in 1997 for $900,000. Her listing agents is Alan Bess from Engel & Voelkers.

According to LA Curbed, the luxury house has a very simple notes on its listing. It says "Gorgeous celebrity home with major upgrades. The house has great entertainment space over looking the mountains. Private entrance to guest room."

Zillow says that the snazzy California home of Brockovich is "located more than two hours from the town of Hinkley - where Brockovich led a lawsuit against Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) for allegedly contaminating the drinking water."

The property has listed some of the amenities like "palm-lined pool and entertainment area overlooking the mountains." Brockovich's standout fixtures are the chandeliers that are found in "the foyer and dining room, plus two each in the living room and the eat-in kitchen." She also has a two-level closet that "fits the image of an activist who's known almost as much for her wardrobe as for her straight talk. The canister-lit expanse is lined with elegantly carved built-ins and boasts a center island and a wall of shoes."
