"Dance Moms" alum Chloe Lukasiak is one of the fan favorite stars in the show next to her best friend Maddie Ziegler. Even when Lukasiak left the Lifetime reality show and the ALDC altogether, the 14-year-old dancer has been consistently met with criticisms and controversies from fans and viewers. Lukasiak breaks down after revealing her biggest insecurity in life.
Chloe Lukasiak shocked everyone when she announced her departure from "Dance Moms" in Season 4. Lukasiak has always been going head-to-head with Maddie Ziegler, who seemed to be Abby Lee Miller's all-time favorite. While Lukasiak recently admitted that she is in a much better place now with Studio 19, the former "Dance Moms" star broke down in front of the cameras.
Lukasiak recounted in a video from Seventeen that a year ago, she and her mom noticed that her right eye was smaller than her left eye, which prompted them to take a trip to the doctor's clinic. Lukasiak recalled that several fans thought she had a lazy eye and became her biggest insecurity in life, but the doctor informed her that she had something much more serious.
Lukasiak revealed that she was diagnosed with silent sinus syndrome. Several measures were done to resolve the problem, but unfortunately, her eye never went back to its normal size. Lukasiak broke down upon saying that she will be undergoing surgery in order to prevent her vision from being affected by her condition.
"It feels good. I feel a lot more secure," Lukasiak said of her eye surgery.
The outlet noted that Lukasiak is currently recovering from her surgery. Meanwhile, Maddie Ziegler's career is skyrocketing, as the 12-year-old dancer has been hailed as one of "Hollywood's Next Big Things" by Teen Vogue magazine, IB Times reported.
Ziegler catapulted to fame after her appearance in Sia's music videos for "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart" and her short role in the ABC Family series, "Pretty Little Liars."
