Bandai Namco has announced recently the 3 "Naruto" trademarks that the company has filed in Japan market. These new brandmarks, namely "Narutimate Braves," "Narutimate Blazing," and "Narutimate Wars" may possibly lead to new "Naruto" franchise.
Anime News Network reports that Bandai Namco has filed the three trademarks on August 24. Although there has been no official announcement yet, these three brand names may have lead to a big possibility of becoming the next franchise in "Naruto." The word "Narutimate" is a coined term for the two blended words of "Naruto" and "Ultimate." This coined "word is used in Japan as a subtitle for video games in the "Naruto" franchise, such as Narutimate Storm, Narutimate Accel, or Narutimate Hero."
It is also reported that the "Naruto Shipp큰den: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (Naruto Shipp큰den: Narutimate Storm 4)" will soon be released by Bandai Namco Entertainment in Japan on Feb. 4. It will also be available in Europe and North America on Feb. 5 and Feb 9, respectively. Narutimate Storm 4 is the most recent installment in the figthing game series of Ultimate Ninja Storm.
iDigital Times says that "Bandai Namco could be revving up for the next series of Naruto video games after the Ultimate Ninja Storm series, which the fourth game is being pegged as the final game in the series." How else could the company continue the franchise, if it would not create new games? Considering that the Naruto manga is already over and Boruto movie is about to hit theaters in North America.
It really makes sense why Bandai has filed these new trademarks. No one knows yet if it could be a spin-off video games or perhaps a new story. But of course, no one could guarantee this assumption except the company itself. It is also possible that "Bandai Namco could just be trademarking possible game titles on the off chance they create it."
As of present times, what everyone knows is that " Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is the final installment of the game series, and it will be released on Feb. 4 in Japan, on Feb. 5 in Europe , and on Feb. 9 in North America.
