"Need for Speed" reboot is not available for PC gamers. When Electronic Arts opened its doors for players to participate in the close beta registration of the "Need for Speed" reboot, it was noticed that it was only for PS4 and Xbox One. Ghost Game, the game developer, issued a statement as to why the PC platform is excluded in the closed beta test.
"Need for Speed" developer Ghost Games said that the delay with the PC version is mainly due to the frame rate issue. The game developer is giving importance to this aspect and does not want to release a half-baked product. That is why it will not be with the Xbox One and PS4 version when it is released, PC Gamer reported.
"Part of the conversation includes hearing from our PC community that an unlocked frame rate in Need for Speed is a massive priority for you, and we fully agree. To deliver this, we've made the decision to move the PC release date to Spring 2016," Ghost Games said in their statement.
"This decision on PC gives us the necessary development time to increase the visuals that we can deliver on PC. We will also include content updates that will have been released on console up to that time, making them available to all PC players from day one," added Ghost Games.
"Need for Speed" reboot is working on a lot of things to improve gaming experience. The visual aspect of the highly successful franchise, as well as the content is still being worked on for the PC version. If additional content has been made with the gaming console versions, it will be available from day to the PC version.
"Need for Speed" reboot will be arriving in North America on Nov. 3 in and Nov. 5 for the rest of the globe. The game will be initially available on Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PlayStation 4 platforms. Ghost Games did not give any release date for the PC platform.
