Jeremy Lin was not allowed to get inside the "Charlotte Hornets" gym because the guards were not informed.
Lin, the basketball superstar, was in an awkward situation when he started with the "Charlotte Hornets." Hornets management failed to inform everybody in the team the "Linsanity" is coming over to their arena and to let him through.
Lin was a sensation back then when "New York Knicks" drafted him in 2012. He has proven in his first year, that he is good in the game and it showed on his statistics. Double-digit figure in each and every game. Thus, "Linsanity" was born.
Lin's career turned sour during his second season and was then traded off from the "New York Knicks" to the "Houston Rockets" then to the "Los Angeles Lakers." A lot of his fans thought that this was the one that Lin was looking for, but unfortunately, things did not get any better.
Lin is now with the "Hornets," his fifth team in five years, almost everybody is looking forward to the return of the "Linsanity" sensation, Yahoo Sports reported.
However, it seems that the security personnel at the Time Warner Cable Arena were not informed that Lin would be dropping by. Apparently, they did not allow him to enter the first time he visited the place. They were not aware of the new kid in town.
"Went to the Hornets arena for the 1st time and tried convincing security I'm a player. She said, 'what team?!? loll,"as posted by Jeremy Lin on his Twitter account.
It was truly an awkward moment, but the 6-foot-3-inch point guard just laughed at the incident. He even added #everywhereigo and #literally hashtags to the tweet.
Lin has been known as a versatile player, with and without the ball. His experience with different offensive styles will be crucial to his status in his new team. A lot of fans are eagerly awaiting for the "Linsanity" phenomenon to be back again.
