The new "Legends of Tomorrow" spinoff series has started filming and Hawkman and Hawkgirl are in!
"Legends of Tomorrow" has just released the first image for Hawkman and Hawkgirl, and it looks incredible. A picture of Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel) and Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee) was recently released by CW in full costume as Hawkman and Hawkgirl.
"Legends of Tomorrow" rumors say that they are the latest reincarnation of an ancient Egyptian Prince. Hawkman is also said to retain all past memories from his previous lives, while Hawkgirl does not.
"Legends of Tomorrow" has already started filming its premiere episode. It may be a two-hour long special and may be split into two. Series co-producer and Pilot co-writer Marc Guggenheim has posted the announcement on his Twitter account. He also revealed the title page for the script that says, "Pilot, Part 1".
Caity Lotz, a.k.a Sara Lance a.k.a White Canary, also twitted that filming has begun. "Day one has begun. And yes were shooting a massive fight scene today :) #LegendsOfTomorrow" as she posted on her Twitter account.
"Legends of Tomorrow" spin-off series is about the adventures of a time-traveller, Rip Hunter, who later formed a team, of both heroes and villains to put an end to the immortal Vandal Savage.
Most of the members of this new "Legends of Tomorrow" team has been introduced already in "The Arrow" and "The Flash" except for "Hawkman" and "Rip Hunter." The team members that came from "The Arrow" where Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer (The Atom), Caity Lotz as Sara Lance (White Canary).
"Prison Break" actors Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell as Captain Cold and Heatwave, Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein were all from "The Flash." Arthur Darvill will portray Rip Hunter, while Casper Crump will portray DC's immortal villain, Vandal Savage, Variety reported.
"Legends of Tomorrow" will premiere midseason of the two other DC shows by 2016 on CW.
