‘Final Fantasy XV’ Extended ‘Dawn 2.0’ Trailer Released Online by Square-Enix

"Final Fantasy XV" extended "Dawn 2.0" trailer has been released online by Square-Enix. This is contrary to what most fans have expected that the 2nd preview would be released at the Sony's pre-TGS 2015 press conference, since the first trailer was shown during the Gamescom 2015.

iDigital Times says that the 2nd trailer, which is an extended clip of the first trailer, started off with the "Fifteen years ago..." then as the phrase fades, Luna came into view "sitting in a room under guard by a bunch of Knight Templar types armed with modern rifles. She sits quietly, her expression blank, as the trailer flashes back to the events of 15 years ago."

Shack News states that the new extended trailer of "Final Fantasy XV Dawn 2.0" is an update clip from the previous trailer. It offers hints on what to expect in the upcoming game series. Fans would see that "Lady Lunafreya of Tenebrae (a.k.a. the Oracle) reflects on how she's reached the point she's currently at." In addition, there are also "new scenes are interwoven to reveal the conflict that she's endured over the years, while Noct can be seen leaning back on his father's car, while reflecting on his own past." Report says that the recent trailer would prepare everyone for what is soon to be revealed during the TGS 2015 before it will officially close on Saturday.

Digital Trends thinks that the extended trailer of "Final Fantasy XV Dawn 2.0" is not as chilling as the first clip that was released at Gamescom. Nonetheless, the major hint of the newly released video clip is that the relationship of Noctis and Lunafreya is of great importance to the video game. It has been recalled that director Hajime Tabata told GameSpot at an earlier time that the romance of the two major characters of the game would not be a "typical love story."

It has also been reported that Square Enix plans to release the latest "Final Fantasy" game series simultaneously worldwide. This is contrary to the usual practice wherein the previous video games were always released first in Japan before it is available elsewhere.
