The Duggar family of "19 Kids and Counting" reality TV has been surrounded with scandals in the past months, particularly with Josh Duggar's admission of cheating on his wife. Has the family moved on?
ET Online reports that the Duggars are not yet ready to forgive Josh. A Duggar source reportedly told ET that it may take time. "In the long term, eventually, we will forgive, it will be in our best interest to forgive. Won't happen soon. Won't happen fast. Just because we forgive doesn't mean we trust ever again. We are still extremely upset. We are all still hurt. Josh is still in rehab, nobody is warm and fuzzy to him yet. It still feels like he is a stranger," the source said.
Jessa Duggar, who was initially supportive of her brother, recently turned her back on him when she posted on Twitter a link to his father-in-law's blog where Michael Seewald called Josh a "hypocritical Christian."
Jessa's recent post on her Instagram may hint the start of the process of forgiving Josh. She posted a snap of her Bible that reads: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation ... For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Josh reportedly checked in a rehab after his confession of cheating on his wife Anna and is dealing with his addiction on pornography. Anna is staying with her mother in Arkansas at the moment but is said to be still supportive of her husband.
In other news, Josh's sister Jill and her husband Derrick Dillard received their share of scandal when they went home at least twice in the middle of their mission, resulting in questions if they're using donations for personal vacations.
