Heads up, Anime fans! "One-Punch Man" manga is getting a bundled edition of its 10th volume. The manga series is now being listed with original video anime (OVA) and is now teaming up with Japan Railways Group to collaborate a campaign involving special in-train advertisement, specifically for Saikyō Line only that operates from Saitama to Kyoto stations.
According to Anime News Network, the Japanese retailer Manga-Oh says that "One-Punch Man" will have a bundled edition of ONE's 10th volume and Yusuke Murata's manga of the same titular line plus an OVA. The bundled edition will be shipped on December 4 including the regular edition volume.
Fandom Post says that there are no specific details as to what story they will adapt for the OVA that will go with the bundled edition of "One-Punch Man." But it is presumed that those few side chapters of the manga that are not included in the TV series, will be the ones featured and adapted in the OVA.
Reports also mention the casting that includes Makoto Furukawa and Kaito Ishikawa. Both voice actors are playing the major roles of Saitama and Genos respectively. Other cast members in the roster that play the major characters are Yuuki Kaji as Speed of Sound Sonic and Aoi Yuki as Tornado of Terror.
The "One-Punch Man" anime is being produced by Madhouse. Shingo Natsume is set to helm the anime series based on the overall scripts penned by Tomohiro Suzuki. It is also being mentioned that Chikashi Kubota handles the character design. Fans could expect that the series will finally premiere this October.
On a different note, Crunchyroll reports that "One-Punch Man" teams up with JR Group with a collaboration campaign. It is a "special in-train advertising on the Saikyō Line, which runs from Saitama to Kyoto." This advertisement will have a 13-day run, which starts on Sept. 28 until Oct. 11, 2015. According to the report, the interior and exterior of Saikyō Line will be embellished with artwork from the manga including the anime series of One and Yusuke Murata.
It is also being revealed that the collaboration campaign involves several puns that are similar to "One-Punch Man." For instance, Saitama - the name of the hobbyist hero protagonist of One-Punch Man - is also the name of the name of one of the destination cities on the Saikyō Line. Additionally, Saikyō (short for "Saitama - Kyoto") is also a homophone for "最強", meaning "strongest".
