"Rick and Morty" episode nine for its second season will focus on Jerry's relationship with his daughter Summer.
In the last episode of "Rick and Morty," Jerry was made to choose between sacrificing his penis or the dying heart of Shrimply Pibbles, the civil rights leader. While everyone waited for his choice, the show came up with the sequel to the "Rixty Minutes" episode which featured another round of senseless binging on random TV shows in the hospital. According to Vine Report, the next episode which is called "Look Who's Purging Now" reveals that Morty made a mistake which will force everyone to wait on him. The grave error was not indicated so as not to totally spoil the fun for viewers.
But the most interesting part of episode 9 reportedly will revolve around the father-daughter relationship of Jerry and Summer. It has been brewing for some time and now the time has come for the two to have a talk about the things that are going on in their lives. Summer has been joining Rick in his outer space missions and Jerry is threatened by Rick's effect over Marty. There is also speculation that things will turn dark with a suicide attempt by Rick.
Meanwhile, in a report by PC Gamer, Justin Roiland, co-creator of "Rick and Morty" is planning to make a virtual reality game version of his hit creation and although there are still no concrete plans underway, he has already filled three notebooks with ideas. He has been reportedly talking with developers who specialize in the genre.
According to the same report by PC Gamer, many people close to the writer thought it was just an idea that he toyed with as part of the natural progression of things in the business of animated TV shows. Apparently though, Roiland is dead serious and was quoted as saying "I have never--and I don't say this lightly--been more energized, enthusiastic, excited, and motivated about anything in my entire life."
