Rumor has it that the much awaited game from Bethesda Studios "Fallout 4" is going to have a file size of 28GB. It is still a little over a month before the Studio releases the game for PC, Xbox One and PS4 so for those who prefer to play this game on their PCs, no need to go clearing out some space in your hard drive just yet.
The rumor on the file size of "Fallout 4" may not be accurate. According to Gaming Bolt, Pete Hines, Bethesda's VP of PR and Marketing, has tweeted that "Bethesda has not given out information about file size or specs yet for any platform." Furthermore, in response to another inquiry on his Twitter page, Hines has replied, "we usually release system specs about a month before launch."
On the other hand, there is a reason why people are fuzzing over the rumor on the file size of "Fallout 4." They must have gotten this figure from the Xbox One website where Microsoft has just updated its product page for "Fallout 4" Xbox One version. While Hines has clarified through Twitter that Bethesda has not revealed any info on file size for any platform. It was clearly stated on Microsoft Xbox One page that the file size is 28.12GB.
The download size for both PlayStation and PC have yet to be confirmed but a lot of fans seem to think that the other platforms might have the same file size. Steam allows users to pre-order the game but it does not have any information on how much space the game will require on the hard drive.
"Fallout 4" fans will likely find that out in two week as Hines has already said that the information on the system specs will be released a month before the game is out in the market. "Fallout 4" will be out in the market on Nov. 10.
