In "NCIS" Episode 3 of Season 13, Gibbs gets a call from a marine who needs help about a case but before he can meet with the fearless "NCIS" leader he is murdered in Quantico. Meanwhile, Bishop and McGee get assigned to stake out a marine lieutenant together with his wife and they disguise themselves as husband and wife.
The third installment of "NCIS" for its latest season will take McGee and Bishop's workplace relationship to the next level as fans of the duo will see them on assignment as a married couple. According to Christian Post, a teaser trailer for the episode showed Bishop and McGee about to kiss which is part of their act as a couple madly in-love with each other. Meanwhile, Tony will find a new way to annoy Gibbs by using a fake accent. Aside from becoming wife to McGee, Bishop will also have her own stuff to deal with and she will decide to act alone. This will be a reason for the whole team to worry about her safety and find her as fast as they can before she gets into trouble.
In the same post by Christian Post, episode two showed McGee and Bishop finding an old picture of their boss whom they realize has changed after getting shot in the show's previous season. An agent from the DEA named Luis asked help from the team and Tony gets suspicious why Gibbs was helping Luis.
In a report by TV Fanatic, the team is still trying to get into terms with the changes affecting Gibbs while he himself is unaware that he is causing his team to worry about him. DiNozzo is the most affected by it and he is the most adamant in trying to get into the bottom of things. Gibbs even tells DiNozzo that he does not know everything about him despite their closeness.
