According to iDigital Times, many feared that the Star Wars Battlefront game EA and DICE was developing a Battlefield clone. The rumors are then put to rest as there have been numerous confirmations that the game will not be a Battlefield clone where no microtransactions is featured.

In a report by GameSpot, they have interviewed DICE Design Director Niklas Fegraeus and asked about the currency used in the game. Fegraeus answered that there will be two types of currencies, a mechanic which is commonly connected to freely earned currency and a currency that cost real-world cash, and to earn currency they must play Star Wars Battlefront.

Currencies are earned by completing the challenges in the game. These currencies can now be used to buy things within the game.

As excited as everything may sound, better prepare your PC as Star Wars Battlefront gets released next month with no microtransactions added.
