Is one of Hollywood's power couple having marriage troubles? Brad Pitt is said to have threatened Angelina with divorce because of her eating disorder.
The 51-year-old actor is worried that the mother of his kids is not taking good care of herself. According to Hollywood Life, a source reportedly told Star Magazine, "He told her if she doesn't check into rehab for her eating disorder, he's leaving and taking the kids with him.
"He wants Angie to focus on herself and her family, before it's too late. Brad told her he doesn't want their kids exposed to this situation any longer, and he's not going to stand by and watch while the mother of his children kills herself."
The insider also added. "He loves his wife and wants her to be healthy, but she is just not taking care of herself."
The death of her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, in 2007 is one of the contributing factors of her eating disorder. According to RadarOnline, "Angelina has never been able to accept her mother's death. There is a lot of anger there over losing her mom at such a young age, just 56-years-old. Her kids never got to know their grandmother, and Angelina feels cheated." Brad is reportedly to be convinced that her "repressed grief" is putting a great toll on her health.
Pitt is also worried about Angelina's nomadic lifestyle. An insider has told Radar, "Brad has wanted to settle in one of their homes too, but Angelina absolutely refuses. Moving and uprooting the entire family is extremely hard, but Angelina thrives in the chaos. She seems to think it's chic to say her kids are globetrotters and can acclimate to any type of environment, but kids need stability and consistency. There will be issues for the kids as they grow up if this continues."
