'DC Comics' Batman Artist is Taking a Break to Work with Mark Millar on a Mystery Project

NY Comic Con 2015 brings a lot of surprises to fans. One of which is the break that DC Comics' Batman artist Greg Capullo will be taking in order to work with Mark Millar.

Tech Times reports that Greg Capullo is scheduled to take a break from working on Batman comics in May 2016. This break though a short one is for a good reason. He has signed up to work with Mark Millar on a short project, which is kept under wraps.

It has been noted that Greg Capullo has started working with Scott Snyder as the artist of Batman comics sin 2011. The last issue that he will be working on prior to his leave will be Batman #51, if things will go smoothly as plan, the comics will be released in April 2016, then his leave will commence.

This news came about during the NY Comic Con 2015 on Saturday. Scott Snyder was the "was the subject of a spotlight panel. But Snyder was frustratingly little to share in the way of details at the event."

Snyder was not giving away what the mystery project is about. Perhaps he is really not in the position to disclose any information since Mark Millar owns the project plus it will also be published by Image Comics.

In a separate report of Comic Book, it says that aside from talking about the leave of Capullo, the Batman: The Bat-Universe" panel has also talked about the #46 of "Batman" comics. Fans have been told that in the upcoming issue of the Dark Knight, people would not being Bruce Wayne as Batman again (despite Capullo asking fans if they would want to see the superhero in black cape). However, in that issue, fans would see how much Batman is being needed in Gotham City and how he is being missed too. Capullo also has revealed that in the said issue will Bruce Wayne again, "even though he doesn't remember his past -- starting to realize what he meant, and wondering if he needs to "revitalize" that role."

How about you? Do you want to see the Dark Knight again in the upcoming series of "Batman" comics? Share your thoughts.
