‘Attack on Titan’ Season 2 News: Premiere Date, Spoilers, and Leaked PV; Story Arc & Reiss Family's Identity Revealed

"Attack on Titan" season 2 has been anticipated by its avid fans. The recent scoop of the anime series talks about its premiere date and some spoilers. The latest news reveals about the story arc and the revelation of Reiss Family's identity. In addition, it is not only the preview video that leaks out but also about Eren being eaten in the upcoming season.

Game Zone reports that the "Attack on Titan" season 2 preview has leaked online. It is not the original preview but a recording of it. The clip is obviously a bit blurry and distant quality, but it is guaranteed that it doesn't contain too much to spoil the whole official surprise for fans.

Rumor has it that the second season of "Attack on Titan" is filled with a lot of deaths, and definitely more colossal titans.

Cross Map reveals that there is no definite schedule yet that is slated for the premiere of "Attack on Titan" season 2. As of press time, the release will be in 2016. The reason for the delay is said to be the story line of the upcoming season of the anime series. It has been reported that the manga series is only 2 arcs ahead of the anime adaptation. Thus, it is wise to wait for the manga to finish at least 4 more arcs before the anime starts.

It has been also disclosed that the storyline for "Attack on Titan Season 2" will espouse "the story of the 104th Trainees Squad fight against the Titans that have penetrated the wall." Other spoilers of the anime series of "AoT" sophomore run are the revelation of the identity of the Reiss Family. Aside from Reiss belonging to a royal lineage, they could also "transform into a titan at will."

Interestingly, Youth Health Mag says that the "Attack on Titan" season 2 will not follow its source material. It is also mentioned in its article that Kevin Ackerman, the uncle of Levi, will try to eat Eren. Levi's uncle believes that by eating Eren, he could "get the much coveted Coordinate, which is the power of being able to control other Titans."
