"Star Wars Rebels" season two will be aired within the next few days and "Star Wars" fanatics are excited to know what will happen with Ahsoka Tano in the next season.
"Star Wars Rebels" released a teaser trailer during New York's Comic-Con to chill all of the fans. The trailer shows the re-emergence of Clone Trooper Captain Rex (Dee Bradley Baker) from the Clone Wars, as well as the second season's plot, Super Hero Hype reported.
A question now remains to be answered among the fans is, will the Dark Lord and the Togruta Padawan Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein) finally face off?
"Star Wars Rebels" show creator David Filoni was asked the same question during their NYCC panel and his response, it will be "cool" and scary." In another interview, Eckstein said that she is both excited and terrified at the prospect, IGN shared.
"As a fan, I'm excited to see it. As the voice of Ahsoka, I'm terrified. You know, Dave once told me that... if Ahsoka met Vader, it might not end so well for her. And so I fear the confrontation for Ahsoka. I think it's natural. It's something we all wanna see, we all wanna see played out. I'm nervous about it," as Eckstein explained.
"Star Wars Rebels'" Eckstein also hinted that she is not part of the new Ghost crew, but rather their mentor. Though Ahsoka's character is still covered with secrets, the show will set some record straight, snippets actually, on how Ahsoka handled Order 66, the Jedi's being branded as traitors. A short scene was also shown when she was with Captain Rex.
"Star Wars Rebels" Season Two trailer also showed Darth Vader's new assignment, to seek out the rebels at all cost, which is a terrible news for the Ghost crew. It seems that alliances were formed and renewed during this season.
"Star Wars Rebels" Season Two will premiere on Disney XD this Oct. 14, 9:30 PM.
