The latest addition to the "Game of Thrones" cast is a handsome actor-model who might give Jorah Mormont and Daario Naharis some major competition for Khaleesi's heart. Watchers on the Wall reported that Staz Nair, a former "X Factor UK" hopeful, has joined the show's sixth season for an undisclosed role. While there is no official word from HBO yet, Nair has been leaving a few hints on his Instagram account, posting pictures from Spain where the show is currently being filmed, and leaving cryptic captions that seem to confirm the reports.
In a photo, he thanked people who helped him get to "the biggest career moment" in his life. "Can't wait to share the news with you all!" he hinted.
In another post, the actor snapped a picture of an old castle, saying, "I love it when work takes you to beautiful hidden cities that you would otherwise never see."
These, combined with his exotic looks, got fans wondering if he is a new Dothraki character to watch out for.
The Dothraki angle is one fans are eager to witness. In season five's cliffhanger, a horde of Dothraki army was seen circling Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). Whether they come as friends or foes is unknown, and fans have been tuning in to the leaked photos from the filming locations.
Los Siete Reinos, a Spanish fansite, posted recent set pictures from Spain, showing a burnt Dothraki temple. A most prominent fan theory is that Drogon, Daenerys' favorite dragon, set it on fire while the mother of dragon was inside. She, of course, comes out unscathed, and the Dothraki will be impressed by her power, yielding their allegiance to her.
Meanwhile, a previous report claimed that Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa) was spotted in the set, fueling the flames of a "Khal Drogo resurrection" theory. However, Metro UK slams the report stating, "It's just another dude playing a Dothraki warrior who happens to share a likeness to our Khal."
Stay tuned for more "Game of Thrones" updates.
