A drastically different Pippa Middleton was pictured last Sunday, as she was leaving the exclusive South Kensington Club after a gym session.
Daily Mail UK released the photos, which showed the younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge looking troubled and distraught. Middleton's face was completely makeup-free, her expression glum. Later that day, she was caught driving through a red light on her way home.
This is a far cry from the Pippa Middleton who was photographed barely three weeks ago, looking radiantly gorgeous while clutching the arm of her then boyfriend, stockbroker Nico Jackson. Last week, Hollywood Gossip reported their split, which came after Middleton was spotted hanging out with her former boyfriends. While sources close to Middleton insisted that there was no third party involved, their break-up still came as a heart-breaking shock for her.
To add to her woes, the entertainment site also reported that the 32-year-old is currently still living with her parents while waiting for a book deal and a new career direction. She is said to have been fired from her two writing jobs last year.
Daily Mail UK described her current reality as looking gloomy. "At 32, Pippa finds herself without an established career, without a property of her own, and now without a boyfriend, leaving some to wonder if she will ever escape the shadow of elder sister Kate, whose young family is never out of the news," the news site stated.
The younger Middleton sibling rose to fame since she served as maid of honor in her sister Kate's wedding to Prince William in 2011. Wearing an ivory body-hugging Alexander McQueen gown, she was noticed by the press and was given a chance at high profile careers. Following the royal wedding, she released a book about party-planning, and was offered a deal to host at NBC. According to reports, her book failed at sales, and the TV stint was cancelled because she did not want to migrate to the United States.
Now, after her much-publicized failure at her latest relationship, Middleton is said to be focused on getting her career right on track. She is currently working on another book, this time about healthy eating, which will coincide with a new business venture on food delivery.
