‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain' News: New Entry Gets New Patch; Creator Hideo Kojima Tenders Resignation At Konima

"Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom of Pain" has been updated to fix the bug in the video game, and has given it a new patch. Also, the creator of the game, Hideo Kojima, has already tendered his resignation at Konima.

Geek Snack reports that "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" video game of Hideo Kojima has been updated. The Kojima has done tweaking and fixing of "Metal Gear Solid" series' new entry"Metal Gear Solid" series' new entry. The changes made to all versions of the game are the "removal of the golden bionic arm and Sniper Wolf outfit."

Report also says that the patch of "The Phantom Pain"for PC of the "Metal Gear Solid" video game series is around 180 megabytes, however the full patch notes are not yet disclosed to the public.

According to report, the newly added patch doesn't have a significant changes to the entire gameplay, what it does only is to remove the above mentioned items of the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain."

As for the console versions of "The Phantom Pain," the update is not yet made available so it hard to confirm "if the removal of these items is a mistake or not." A mod has also been released for the PC version. "This new mod, which is called Hardcore Mod, increases the game's difficulty [level] by introducing several gameplay changes such as a 50% increase of enemy hearing and vision ranges, added benefits for weather, decreased enemy knockout time, increased bullet damage, reduced empty magazine uses and more."

On a different note, Latinos Health reports that the creator of "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom of Pain," Hideo Kojima, has tendered his resignation to Konami. Kojima has been working for Konami for 29 years already.

Based on report, Hideo Kojima's resignation was effective Oct. 9. New Yorker said that "ceremony was held on the same day at Kojima Productions studio and was attended by many guests." But it appeared that during the said ceremony Konami's president Hideki Hayakawa and CEO Sadaaki Kaneyoshi were not seen.

However, Anime News Network's recent article about this news says a different information. According to the report, "Konami has denied Kojima's resignation from the company." The company said that Kojima and some other employees are taking a vacation.
