‘RWBY’ Updates: A Manga Adaptation Will Debut on November; Volume 3 Set To Air

"RWBY" animated TV series is all set to hit the small screen this week. Aside from the airing of the 3rd volume, the manga adaptation is also set and is slated for release in the Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine.

Anime News Network reports that Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine has announced on Monday that Shirow Miwa, creator of "Dogs: Prelude," has started drawing its manga adaptation of Monty Oum's "RWBY."

Report says that "RWBY" manga adaptation will debut on Nov 19 for the December issue of Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine. It is also further disclosed that the first chapter of the manga adaptation will have color pages at the center and back pages.

The release is so timely because the magazine will celebrate its 20th anniversary and "RWBY" will be part of its special project. In addition, "The magazine issue will bundle a mini clear file with art from the new manga."

It is also reported that Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Japan acquired the license of the American web series of "RWBY" for distribution in the Japan market. It has also been arranged that the episodes will be screened in 6 theaters in Japan beginning Nov. 14. On the same date, the "theater limited-edition Blu-ray" will be sold.

On a different note, the 3rd season of "RWBY" is also set to debut in the small screen on Oct. 24 via Rooster Teeth for its sponsor. On Oct. 25, the web series will be available worldwide.

Rooster Teeth has already released in its website the "exciting and high-energy opening for the upcoming third season,"as reported by The News Hub. The said video clip reveals "the gist of the story." It also confirms that the renowned villains will be back in season 3. Cinder Fall has been seen in the teaser, which was shown during the NY Comic-Con 2015.
