"Outlander" season two is still months away and fans of the time travel series have wittingly dubbed the long wait as "droughtlander." To end the drought, the show's official Twitter account has recently shared an official photo of season two's setting. The show also promised to post more pictures in the coming weeks.
The hit show's second season, which is based on Diana Gabaldon's second Outlander novel "Dragonfly in Amber," will take place in Paris. The story, according to Daily Record UK, will see Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) try to change the course of history in France.
We have previously reported that the stars were spotted filming in Prague, dressed in lavish Parisian costumes.
Meanwhile, Caitriona Balfe, who plays the lead female character Claire, also took to Twitter last Tuesday, Oct. 20, to appease the droughtlander. In honor of her character's birthday, the actress held an "Ask Claire" event, where she openly answered fans' questions about the show.
When asked what her most favorite part about playing Claire was, Balfe answered, "Being out in the Scottish wild with the wind in my hair being badass!!"
The actress also had very nice words for her leading man, actor Sam Heughan, who she called, "very thoughtful." Furthermore, she revealed that the most difficult and emotional scene she ever shot for the show was for episode seven of the upcoming season.
Balfe ended her brief Q&A by thanking the show's fans, saying, "I get to do a job that I love everyday that comes with amazing fans!"
"Outlander" season two will air on Starz around March or April 2016.
