On November 24, the action RPG "Bloodborne" will get a post Halloween treat as Sony and From Software releases the The Old Hunters expansion.
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the "The Old Hunters" DLC for will bring new environments, new outfits and weapons, new Trophies, and the ability to transform into beasts for Hunter, the playable protagonist of the PlayStation 4-exclusive title
As stated in the Sony PlayStation Website, "Experience the nightmare of the hunters who once guarded Byrgenwerth's deepest, darkest secrets and uncover the mystery behind Yharnam's sinister past and in The Old Hunters expansion DLC for "Bloodborne". Journey to a world where hunters from the past are trapped forever, find multiple new outfits and weapons to add to your hunter arsenal, and explore brand new stages full of dangers, rewards, and deadly beasts to hunt."
But accessing the Old Hunters Expansion can be a little tricky. Luckily, PlayStation Lifestyle has shared the work around for accessing The Old Hunters that was stated in the Q&A on PlayStation Japan, "Once you reach a certain point in "Bloodborne", the item, "Eye of a Blood-drunk Hunter" appears in the Hunter's Dream. Once you have acquired this item, you will be able to access the newly added areas in the expansion."
To further elaborate, it was stated that a player can use the save data from after clearing "Bloodborne" to play "The Old Hunters". With regards, to online interaction, players will still be able to communicate in the areas from the original game but interaction within the additional areas will only be possible among players who also have the expansion installed.
"Bloodborne" was released worldwide on March 2015.
