Rumor: Julia Roberts’ Hawaiian Estate on the Market for $17 Million

Rumor has it that the 'Pretty Woman' actress Julia Roberts and her husband, Danny Moder, have listed one of their beautiful beachfront estates in the Hawaiian Islands of Kauai for about $17 million, according to some media reports.

The Real Estalker reports that the property in question may or may not be linked directly to the actress. However, several trusted sources tell the folks at the website that the property was picked up by Roberts sometime back in 2009 for around $10 million.

The 1807 square feet residence sits on a three parcel lot spanning an area of 8.92 secluded acres. The property also boasts 400 feet of beach frontage. The residence has four bedrooms and three bathrooms on the whole. A one bed-bath guest house sits near the head of the long driveway.

Photos of the home show sleek interiors with beamed ceilings, hardwood floors and an open plan. Oversized, wood-framed glass windows allow for great views of the ocean and ample ventilation.

The other estate, which the couple reportedly own, was purchased in 2011 for about $13 million. That estate is available for rent, asking $1500 a night.

Sometime back in April 2013, Roberts was seen holidaying in Hawaii with her kids during spring break, just a week after Easter, reports E! Online. The actress was spotted helping her kids: Hazel, 8, Phinnaeus, 8, and Henry, 5, look for sea shells.

The mom of three has had quite an illustrious career. For some time now, speculations of her getting behind the camera to direct a film have been doing the rounds. When asked about it at the Toronto International Film Festival, she said:

"Oh I won't [direct]," she said to E! News. She was promoting the premiere of her film 'August: Osage County.'

"I think any housewife will tell you that you're directing pretty much 24/7 so I'll stick to the in-house directing. It's too much for me. I love being an actor, I love being a homemaker and that's good for me," Roberts added.
