'Wonder Woman' Movie Updates: Chris Pine Confirms Working with Gal Gadot; Production Starts in London During Fall

Chris Pine confirms that he has signed up to work with Gal Gadot as the warrior princess of the Amazons in "Wonder Woman" movie. Pine says he will save humanity with Diana Prince. The film will start its production in Fall in London.

Comic Book says that while Chris Pine has been busy promoting his new movie "The Finest Hours," the actor has confirmed that he is being casted in the solo movie of "Wonder Woman." He mentioned this information while he's being interviewed by Premiere, a French entertainment website.

In his interview, the "Jack Ryan" lead star said that he's not certain if he's allowed to share to the press about the upcoming movie of "Wonder Woman." But Chris Pine said that he's excited to work with Gal Gadot because for him she's very talented. "What excites me most is to turn in a movie with a superhero woman. With a woman in the lead role. I am a team with this intelligent, beautiful and strong [woman] to destroy the wicked and save humanity. The routine, whatever," he added.

Though Chris Pine would not confirm his role in the "Wonder Woman" movie, rumor has it that he would be portraying the character of Steve Trevor.

In the Batman News website, its published article online states that the production of "Wonder Woman" will start soon in London. It is speculated that filming will start in the Fall, and slated for release on June 23, 2017. It is also mentioned in the article that Chris Pine signed the contract over the summer.

Newsarama says that Patty Jenkins will helm the "Wonder Woman", and that the movie shoot in traditional film.
