Jessa Duggar Seewald Celebrates Birthday, Still Hasn't Given Birth; What's Plan B?

Jessa Duggar Seewald turns 23 today! The reality star stepped out with husband Ben last Monday night for a mini celebration of junk food and ice cream.

The very pregnant Jessa, who is officially three days past her due date, explained her unhealthy craving on her Instagram, saying, "Sometimes, you forget about eating healthy and go for the good stuff."

Meanwhile, Jessa also celebrated another important milestone in her life this week. Last Sunday, Nov. 1, was her first wedding anniversary and she flooded her social media wall with pictures of their wedding day.

"Baby, you are my best friend and the Love of my life! I'm so thankful to God for bringing us together! This past year with you has been the best yet-- I'm sure only to be outdone by the next!" she gushed about her husband.

The reality star also shared their official wedding video on her blog, which she said makes her cry every time she watches it.

Nov. 1 was also the expected day when they welcome "Baby Quincy" but as of press time, Jessa has still not given birth. At 40 weeks, the mom-to-be feels "as big as a barn," and shared a recent photo of her huge baby bump while out for a taco run.

While Jessa continues to wait for her labor, she and husband Ben are playing a guessing game as to how big their baby might be.

She shared a screenshot of her text exchange with her mother-in-law, where she asked how much Ben weighed as a newborn.

"We've been taking a poll with the Duggar and Seewald families over the past few weeks, and everyone is trying to guess how much they think #BabySeewald might weigh at birth," Jessa wrote in the caption.

The famous Duggar daughter revealed that she was the heaviest of all the 19 Duggar kids, weighing at 9lbs 15oz at birth.

"Haha! I'd say it's very possible we could have a chubby little baby!" she added.

The Duggars, who campaigned for a conservative lifestyle in their now defunct reality show "19 Kids and Counting," are advocates of home birth. According to The Duggar Family Blog, Jessa is sticking to this tradition and will give birth to the same house her sister-in-law Anna gave birth to her first two children.

"We have lots of relatives and friends who have had wonderful experiences with giving birth at home, and we are excited and hopeful that our experience will be the same," Jessa said.

Last May, TLC captured the delivery of her sister Jill, who planned for a home birth but ended up having an emergency C-section due to complications. Jessa explained that because of this, she has made a back-up plan.

"We also realize that sometimes (as in Jill's case), a transfer to the hospital may be necessary, and our birth plan definitely includes a plan B," she said.

Coincidentally, Jessa's 24-year-old sister Jill is now a certified midwife. But Jessa could not expect any help from her as she will not be around when Jessa gives birth. According to the family's official blog, Jill and husband Derick are away for a mission trip.

Fans of the family are expecting to see Jessa's birth in her upcoming special, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," which will premiere in December on TLC.
