Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, both of whom are judges in the latest season of "The Voice," are confirmed to be officially dating.
In a statement released to Us Weekly, Stefani's spokesperson confirmed that "The Voice" Season 9 judges are indeed dating. "Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating," said the rep, who refused to give further details.
It can be recalled that the two have been surrounded by dating rumors since they were spotted flirting on the set of "The Voice." Just recently the pair sang "Hotline Bling" together when they made an appearance at the "Tonight Show" with fellow judges Adam Levine and Pharell Williams.
The two further added speculations to the rumors when they were seen and pictured getting cozy with each other at Maroon 5's Halloween party in LA last weekend. The said pictures were obtained by E! Online, which also got a confirmation from the country singer's rep about the couple officially dating.
In previous interviews, both the Grammy winning singers have been reserved when it comes to answering issues about their relationship status. Both have recently gone through divorce, Stefani with Bush's lead singer Gavin Rossdale and Blake with country superstar Miranda Lambert.
Lambert is reportedly not surprised about the news that her former husband is dating his "The Voice" co-judge. A source told E! Online that the "Somethin' Bad" songstress heard of the rumors. "Miranda and Blake were on the rocks on and off and knew that this could always be a possibility," the source added.
Shelton's ex-wife also is said not to harbor bad feelings toward the couple. If anything, she wished both Gwen and Blake the best.
Stefani flew to Nashville in time for the Country Music Awards, where Shelton is set to appear. Fans are hoping to see the two walk the red carpet together, but the rumors have been denied. It is said that the "Sangria" singer is planning to take his new girlfriend to the after parties.
