"Sister Wives" stars Kody and Robyn Brown are adding another baby girl to their growing brood. The announcement was revealed during the reality show's episode 12 aired on Sunday, Nov. 8.
During last Sunday's episode, aptly titled "A Boy or a Girl," the entire Brown family was seen packing their bags for a short vacation to Alaska. There, Kody and Robyn planned to make their exciting announcement. They gave a wrapped present to their children, Truely and Solomon. Inside was a stuffed pink doll.
"Is it a baby sister or a baby brother?" Robyn asked Solomon.
Truly and Solomon opened the box, and squealed with delight upon seeing the baby doll.
Kody and Robyn will welcome their baby girl on Jan. 7, 2016. The couple lead a polygamous lifestyle along with Kody's three other wives: Meri, Janelle and Christine. This will be Kody's 18th child, his third with Robyn. For Robyn, this will be baby number six. She has three older children from her previous marriage, who were just recently legally adopted into the Brown family.
"The whole family is so excited for our new baby girl," Robyn told People Magazine. "She kicks constantly and responds well to all the attention she gets through my belly. We can't wait until she gets here!"
Kody's first wife Meri also shared the family's excitement. "Yay! I knew it and I'm SOOOO excited!" she wrote on Twitter.
"Sister Wives" will air its season 6 finale on Sunday, Nov. 19, 9 p.m. on TLC. Followers of this controversial family can expect to see first wife Meri's recent internet scandal unfold.
