'Arrow' Season 4 Episode 6 Reviews: Action-Packed yet Not as Good as Previous Episodes; Scenes Not Worth Remembering?

"Arrow" Season 4 episode 6 seems to run short as compared to "Haunted," which was pretty impressive. "Lost Souls" has a lot of action but then most of the scenes are feared to be not outstanding and may not be remembered.

One of the reviews that came out after episode 6 of "Arrow" season 4 had been aired is from Carter Matt. It says that the expectation of "Lost Souls" is a bit higher since the "Haunted" was awesome. And another "The CW's" TV series, particularly "The Flash," that has been recently aired has also delivered a spectacular episode.

The online mag said flat out that though "Lost Souls" delivered a lot of action on its table, but "it mostly just suffers from poor placement more than anything else." The action is admittedly entertaining but the critic is not "sure how much of it we'll be remembering." Remove the fight scenes, and episode 6 of "Arrow" season 4 is but boring.

TV Fanatic on the other hand says that there is only a "tiny little story" in the rescue mission of Ray Palmer. According to its review, that part took a backseat, and what seems to be highlighted in "Arrow" Season 4 Episode 6 is love.

It is noted that the issue of Oliver and Felicity appeared to be too important that rescuing Ray Palmer has been reduced to less important. Ray being in danger and the necessity to reintroduce him is of course "be sent off as a Legend."

Of course, the conversation of Oliver and Felicity is very touching. One can feel the emotion and how the two are making so much effort to make their relationship work. Seeing that moment of doubt connects the audience to the reality of any relationship.

The dialogues of the characters in the "Lost Souls" specifically, Olive and Felicity, Oliver and John, are very realistic too. When one begins to doubt or even wonder why one person chose the other, "these are things that real people wonder while in relationships all the time. It brings our superhero down to our level and makes him human. It makes their love believable."

Joblo says in its review on episode 6 of "Arrow" season 4 that despite the thrills, it still doesn't meet the expectations of the audience. "The rescue of Ray Palmer and the departure of Sara Lance still feel like stage setting for Legends of Tomorrow rather than an organic hour of Arrow."
