'The Legend of Zelda' For Wii U Confirmed for 2016; 'The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess' Remake Releases in March 2016

There is a slight development in the news surrounding "The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U. Now it has been confirmed that the game will be released in 2016.

For months, fans of the "Zelda" game have been baffled by the mystery surrounding "The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U shift from projected 2015 arrival to the current TBD situation in the Nintendo timeline of releases. Finally, according to IGN, "The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U was confirmed to launch in 2016 during the latest Nintendo Direct briefing that was broadcast live via twitch on Nov. 12.

In the briefing, Nintendo has shared a teaser image from the "The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U. It is an image of a hooded character mounted on a horse in a grassy field. Nintendo has an image of this on Twitter with the caption that says more details about the game will be announced next year.

In another news, the rumors suggesting a remake of "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" is true. According to Gamespot, the remake of the 2006 Nintendo release for Wii and GameCube is coming to Wii U and will be called as "Twilight Princess HD." The game is under development of an Australian company Tantalus.

Along with the updated graphics of "Twilight Princess HD" the game package will include a Wolf Link Amiibo. Moreover, it will also back up Legend of Zelda Amiibo characters that are already included in the hit Nintendo fighting game "Super Smash Bro."

For "The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U, 2016 is not really a definite date but it is a lot better than TBD. On the other hand, "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" will be out on March 4, 2016 and pre-orders are now accepted.
