Four contestants reach the finale of "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 22 when no one was eliminated in the previous episode.
Last week, Mame Adjei won the best performance despite her low challenge scores. Nyle DiMarco was runner up and then Lacey Rogers and Mikey Heverley were at the bottom two. Their scores were tied though and so they are still in the running towards becoming ANTM's big winner.
In the first part of the finale to be aired next Friday, Nov. 20, the finalists are going to do a photoshoot for a Zappos Couture campaign and prepare for the final runway. The synopsis also teased that there will be some drama when one of the models was revealed to have hooked up with one of the other models. Who could it be?
At this point of the competition, ANTM is left with bests of the bests and it is really hard to choose which one of them is going to kill it in the final sets of challenges and showdown. Here's what their status are in terms of scores so far.
Mame got the highest score last week with a total of 37.1 points. Nyle had 37 points, while Lacey and Mikey both received 35.2 points. Lacey is still leading with a total score of 378.9 points, while Mame has a total score of 368.8 points. For the boys, Nyle has accumulated 376.1 points, while Mikey has 374.2 points.
Only two will reach the showdown part. Who among the girls and the guys will be able to make it to the final two? Really, this is a tight and close fight among the final four.
Lacey had an amazing performance from the beginning of the competition which brought her this far in the competition, albeit having some slips in the latter weeks. But Mame has a big chance of securing a spot in the final two. She has won in several challenges, including the go-sees where she was booked in all, except that she was disqualified because of time. She has also won best photo in two of the most recent episodes. So if Lacey is not able to bring back her A game, Mame will be the on the top two.
Between the guys, Mikey was able to show an impressive performance in the past weeks, catching up with the fan-favorite Nyle. He also won two best performances in the most recent weeks. Nyle remains a strong model, with his captivating eyes. He may have slipped in some weeks, but last episode, he bounced back. So Nyle will most likely make it in the final two, but Mikey is not going home without a fight.
