AT&T Allegedly Testing Samsung Galaxy S7 Phones, Confirming The Devices Early Release

As previously reported, the Samsung Galaxy S7 might be released at a date earlier than expected. Such speculation was based on the pattern in which Samsung launched its previous flagships. For example, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus ahead of the IFA event held in Berlin last September. So now that Samsung Unpacked 2016 is expected to be held in Barcelona on Feb. 21, 2016, Samsung fans think that the South Korean company will be releasing the new smartphones ahead of the said event.

In support of the above theory, Andoid Authority has reported that Samsung was already developing the firmware for the Galaxy S7 even prior to working on the S6, which is why the S7 may have already existed the last time Samsung unveiled its latest line of smartphones.

Now, another news is confirming the early launch of the much awaiting Samsung S7. According to Forbes, phone leaker Evan Blass going by the Twitter handle @evleaks took to Twitter to broadcast that communications carrier AT&T is already testing two new Samsung devices bearing the model numbers SM-G930A and SM-G935A, which are convincingly the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

Moreover, it was mentioned that earlier this year, the tech giant has teased the arrival of a bendable phone so it is being supposed that the Galaxy S7 announcement might be a "back up" to the entirely new product that Samsung could also be unveiling early next year.

So far, according to Sammobile, the rumor that Samsung might be releasing two versions of the S7 is still swirling. One version might carry Samsung's very own chip Exynos, while the other may contain Snapdragon 820. Other rumors suggest that the Galaxy S7 will feature the widest screen at 5.7 inches in contrast to the 5.1 inches screen of its predecessors. Also the latest Galaxy S flagship is also expected to have dual-camera set up.
