Jana Duggar Forced to Become Nanny to Jessa’s Baby

Jana Duggar is playing "Cinderella" as she is forced to take care of younger sister Jessa's newborn baby.

In a family where becoming a parent is more than just a big deal, single Jana of the Duggars is given the responsibility of doing nanny duties for her sister Jessa's baby. According to Radar Online, Jessa went through a lengthy and painful labor while giving birth and Jana acted as her midwife through the whole ordeal. Their other siblings, Jinger and Michelle were also on hand to assist during the delivery. Guinn, the mother-in-law of Jessa was also present.

The delivery almost went awry when after 10 hours of contractions Jessa was still not fully dilated. When she gave birth, she lost too much blood and was rushed to the hospital. Jessa is on her way to recovery but it is Jana who is laboring for the baby while her sister is healing up.

In the same report, it seems that Jana's sacrifice for her sister is not enough. She complains about not getting enough sleep. She said, "I thought I'd sleep at night, but I hear him breathe or something and I take out a flashlight and shine it on his face to make sure he's okay."

She also took the opportunity in the interview to diss her sister and her being single at 25 years old. Jessa said, "You never realize the responsibility of being a parent until you have a baby yourself."

In a report by Hollywood Gossip, it appears Jana Duggar is the least appreciated member of the Duggar family despite being the second eldest of the siblings. She and twin brother John David will be turning 26 next year. Fans and critics of the reality show have always looked at Jana as being forced to be the family's servant. She has been given the responsibility to take care of her younger sisters and it looks like it will now include her nephews.
