"Once Upon a Time" 100th episode will be a reunion of characters who have appeared throughout the five seasons of the series, the show's creators confirmed.
In a recent interview with Variety, "Once Upon a Time" producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis teased the much-awaited episode. When asked about what viewers should expect from Episode 100, Kitsis said, "...what we're really excited about is, we feel like we're going to be honoring the show by really giving you that season one feeling all over again."
Earlier this month, various reports came out revealing the characters who will return for "Once Upon a Time" episode 100, which is set to premiere after the show's winter hiatus. The Blind Witch (Emma Caulfield), Pan (Robbie Kay), Sidney Glass (Giancarlo Esposito), and Cora (Barbara Hershey) are all coming back for the "Once Upon a Time" Season 5 special.
When news about these comebacks was released, no one had the idea as to how the characters will appear in the episode. Kitsis hinted that these characters could appear through visions, another realm, flashbacks, or all three.
Meanwhile, since a lot of previous characters are making an appearance in the 100th episode, fans of the show are already wondering if Jamie Dornan of "Fifty Shades of Grey" will be back as Graham, the Huntsman.
The OUAT creator addressed this by saying it would be impossible for Dornan to be back because of his schedule. It has been reported that "Fifty Shades Darker" is set to start production early next year and if that ensues, it would be in conflict with the 100th episode's filming.
The 44-year-old writer did not hide his dismay over the non-appearance of Dornan, saying, "You find a star and then other people grab them and then don't share them." However, the producer mentioned that Dornan will "be there in spirit as Emma (Jennifer Morrison) wears his shoelaces on her wrist."
Sebastian Stan, who plays Jefferson/Mad Hatter, is also one of the actors that fans are hoping to return for "Once Upon a Time" 100th episode. According to Bustle, the actor has a slim to zero chance of coming back. Like Dornan, Stan is also currently busy with his movie career.
