Celebrity Real Estate: Adam Carolla Sells His Spanish LA Mansion for $5.3 Million

Comedian and TV host Adam Carolla is saying adieu to his grand, Spanish-inspired mansion in Los Angeles. The listing, posted on Trulia, states that the property, with 6,135 square feet of space, has four bedrooms and six baths.

Photos of the home reveal its grandeur. Originally built in 1928, the two-story house sits on a hill, overlooking Lake Hollywood and valley. The two-story entrance leads to a formal dining room accentuated with custom tiles and French doors. Its ceiling is said to resemble that of a cathedral.

The living room boasts of floor-to-ceiling windows, highlighting the stunning scenery of the area. The master suite has its own fireplace and balcony. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, including a sub-zero refrigerator. The mansion also features a custom-built entertainment room, which has its own bar and pool table.

Outside, the estate has a space for 10 cars, as Carolla is known to be a car enthusiast. The modern garage even has its own elevator lift and a circular driveway. For male homeowners, the highlight of the property is its private den, which has glass-view portholes that look into the swimming pool outside.

The 51-year-old comedian reportedly bought the home in 2003 for $1.63 million. According to a previous report, Carolla has been making profit out of the house since 2014, when he first leased it for $13,500 per month.

Carolla is best known for his radio call-in program, "Loveline," which had a spin-off on MTV from 1996-2000. He has also starred in "The Adam Carolla Project," a home improvement show which aired on TLC in 2005. Currently, he hosts "The Adam Carolla Show," a talk show distributed via podcast. Aside from being a funny guy, Carolla is also an outspoken commentator on various social issues, and headlines a weekly segment called "Rollin' With Carolla" on Fox's "The O'Reilly Factor."
