Following the recent announcement of FX and Comedy Central, ABC is the latest network to announce its lineup of upcoming and returning series for the Winter 2016 season.
According to Deadline, the network shared the schedules for new series including non-scripted "Beyond the Tank" and weight loss show "My Diet Is Better Than Yours," comedy "The Real O'Neals," dramas "Of Kings & Prophets" and "The Family" and Shonda Rhimes' "The Catch" starring Mireille Enos.
The outlet also reported that several returning TV shows will air in January until March next year. The following midseason series which will have a winter hiatus are "Scandal," "How To Get Away With Murder," "Grey's Anatomy," "Nashville," "Once Upon A Time," "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" and breakthrough series "Quantico."
JANUARY 2016
“Galavant” Season 2 will premiere on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at 8 p.m.
"The Bachelor” Season 20 will premiere on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at 8 p.m.
“Marvel’s Agent Carter” Season 2 will air a 2-hour premiere episode on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at 9 p.m.
“American Crime” Season 2 will air on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at 10 p.m.
“My Diet Is Better Than Yours” Season 1 will premiere with a 2-hour episode on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, at 8 p.m.
"Beyond the Tanks" Season 1 will premiere on Thursday, Jan 7, 2016, at 10 p.m. 10 p.m.
FEBRUARY 2016
Comedies "The Muppets" (8 p.m.) and "Fresh Off the Boat" (8:30 p.m.) will release new episodes on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016.
Shonda Rhimes and her production company, Shondaland will have a jam-packed schedule for “Grey’s Anatomy," “Scandal” and “How to Get Away with Murder” from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016.
MARCH 2016
"The Real O'Neals" will air two sneak previews before its premiere on Wednesday, Mar. 2, 2016 at 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.
“The Family” will also air a sneak preview on Thursday, Mar. 3, 2016 9 p.m. It will premiere on a new period (9 p.m.) on Sunday, Mar. 6, 2016.
“Once Upon a Time” will air new episodes on Sunday, Mar. 6, 2016, at 8 p.m.
"Quantico" Season 1 will air new episodes on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at 10 p.m.
“Fresh Off the Boat” will then premiere as a new show on the Tuesday lineup starting Tuesday, Mar. 8, 2016 at 8 p.m.
