The Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James is creating noise as he buys a new house in the Brentwood neighborhood of L.A. The NBA superstar is said to be expanding his real estate holdings in the Westward.
The L.A. Times reports that LeBron James is making a move in expanding his real estate empire in Los Angeles, California. According to the report, the Cavaliers' small forward basketball player recently acquired an estate in Brentwood.
It has been known to many that LeBron James has a large property in Ohio. His 30,000 sq.ft. mansion in Akron, Ohio has been featured in many magazines, such as CavsNation.
As he is known for his shameless spending habits, his new home in Brentwood cost him no less than $20,986,500. This property was built in 2011. Architect Ken Ungar designed the 9,440-square-foot Traditional-style home.
Reports say that the luxurious real estate property has a "gabled roof, dormer windows and black shutters." A bay window in the house also punctuates a two-storey stretch of stone facade along the front of the house.
The Olympian further described that the design made by Architect Ken Ungar has living spaces beyond its front portico. The new home of LeBron James in Brentwood has a "central entry hall with a sweeping staircase, a formal dining room, a round breakfast room, six bedrooms and eight bathrooms."
This traditional-style home also has a balcony and deck spaces situated at the back of the house, which serve as an extension of "the living areas outdoors." The luxurious property also has a gated driveway that leads to its garage, which could accommodate three vehicles. The magazine also stated that the real estate property has a "lawn and a swimming pool with a semi-circular spa-fountain [completing] the grounds."
If compared to his Bath Township property in Ohio, James' newly bought home in Brentwood is not half the size of his mansion in Akron. The common denominator of both properties is both have six bedrooms. The obvious reason why the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar bought a house in L.A. is because he "frequently travels to the place for business involving his production company, SpringHill Entertainment."
