Rocksteady Studios is releasing an expansion for its previously buggy "Batman: Arkham Knight" title.
It was not too long ago when, Warner Bros. offered full refund of Steam after a failed re-launch of the PC version "Batman: Arkham Knight," the 2015 action game developed by Rocksteady Studios for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. Now the developer want to give it more content.
According to Gamespot, Rocksteady Studios is releasing the "Community Challenge Pack," an expansion for "Batman: Arkham Knight" in January. The expansion was named so because some of the contents that will be delivered have been chosen by the community or the fans of the game.
The community response to a discussion about "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "c" maps helped Rocksteady decide which map to add to the game through the upcoming expansion.
In the Community Announcement page, The Arkham Community Manager wrote that fans can look forward to getting maps like Wayne Manor Main Hall (Batman: Arkham City), Batcave (Batman: Arkham City), Sanatorium, Medical Facility (Batman: Arkham Asylum).
He also added, "But wait, that's not all! We're adding in a seventh AR challenge to the Community Challenge Pack: Endless Knight. We've been listening to you guys and one of the most interesting ideas the community has had is for an endless survival predator map. We made a prototype and ended up really liking it, so we're bringing it to you in January."
According to Gamespot, the expansion will be release in January 2016, however a specific release date was not announced yet. Rocksteady did not indicate if the expansion will be included with the game's season pass either. To make up to those who bear with the game through all its bugs, Rocksteady announced that they will have earlier access to the expansion than Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players.
