"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" ran out dark throughout the bitter-sweet goodbye and roller-coaster of emotions from Katniss Everdeen, the star squad, and the people of revolution in the Capitol.
However, without the lead star Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, the most valuable girl of Panem and the symbol of the revolution, the story will suffer from the mundane and distress over the revolution taken to pave way for the irrational game that happened within the Capitol. Viewers cannot even count how many times Lawrence's invincible character was always spared from dying.
The 25-year-old actress plays Katniss Everdeen successfully in the final installment of the series. The Mockingjay delivered her influential command very clearly as she said her famous trailer lines, "Tonight, turn your weapons to the Capitol. Turn your weapons to Snow!"
Talking about Lawrence as Everdeen, she was pretty similar with her character. Both were revolutionary. Everdeen's presence was remarkable. The audience hunger for her dialogue, and even without, her gaze speaks more than a thousand words.
In comparison, Lawrence as a Hollywood A-lister has been known for expressing candid thoughts in interviews, with people eager to hear her remarks. With her popularity and solid acting, no wonder "The Girl on Fire" has been nominated and won several awards, including the Academy Award for Best Actress and Golden Globe Awards, throughout her career.
Meanwhile, one of the best parts of the "Mockingjay Part 2" was when the "Star Squad" was formed. There was quite humor in it as they were filming the act of the game yet dying was inevitable.
According to Tucson Weekly, Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) was forced to be in the game with her real-or-not -real sweetheart only to find out that President Coin (Julianne Moore) set them up to film the game and propaganda purposes. While Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth), Everdeen's other guy, seemed to play an unnecessary part in the story as he revealed his unclear purpose in the final part.
The "Mockingjay Part 2" is the last installment of the blockbuster series "The Hunger Games," which was adapted from the book series of the same title written by Suzanne Collins.
