'Attack on Titan' Season 2 News: Plights of Major Characters and of the Anime Series Itself Revealed?

News about the "Attack on Titan" Season 2 has been spinning in the worldwide web. Spoilers of the much awaited anime series have been sprouting like mushrooms every now and then. The latest info focuses on the plight of the major characters and of the series itself.

Yibada's recent report reveals on what to expect with the major characters in the manga series. There will be shocking character development even with other characters. Talks have it that Bertolt Hoover and Reiner Braun will unveil details of their real identity. Of course, everyone knows that they could transform as "Colossal Titan" and "Armoured Titan" respectively.

Since "Attack on Titan" Season 2 main characters will oust their corrupt leader, spoilers say that "the rightful successor of the power of the Coordinate is Lenz, daughter of Rod Reiss."

But the most anticipated scene in the upcoming season of "Attack on Titan" is the death of Levi Ackerman. In the manga series, his death was revealed in Chapter 73. It is exciting to note how this will be shown in the small screen. It is also expected that Levi will be saved by "his squad, the Shiganshina trio: Armin Arlert, Mikasa Ackerman and Eren Yaeger."

One more character that will have a distressing plight is Erwin Smith. It is mentioned that in the season 2 of "Attack on Titan," he would lose an arm, and he would eventually leave the squad.

It has also been speculated that this season will be the last of "Attack on Titan" anime series. Christian Today says that there are a handful of rumors that are suggesting that this would be the end of "AoT." However, this rumor has been shut down when the series editor Kawakubo Shintaro told Antenna Magazine that the animated series of Hajime Isayama will still have "three years-worth of stories."

As the several reports imply, all chapters of the manga have already been covered in the TV animation of "Attack on Titan." Thus, there are nothing much left for season 2.
