"Assassination Classroom" Anime Series Season 2 premieres very soon. The new adventures of Class 3E and Korosensei will hit the small screen on January 7, 2016.
Anime News Network reports that the premiere date of "Assassination Classroom" Anime Series Season 2 has been officially announced through Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump issue #53. The anime series will air on Fuji TV and Kansai TV on Thursday evening. However, it will also be shown on BS Fuji, Tokai TV, and other TV networks.
As reported, "Assassination Classroom" season 1 had premiered on Jan. 9, 2015. The anime series had 22 episodes and had been streamed via FUNimation.
Kpopstarz states that the new adventures of Class 3E and Korosensei has not been confirmed of its streaming date with FUNimation for its avid followers outside Japan. It has been noted that while that while the development of "Assassination Classroom" season two has been going on, fans have been expressing their excitement already for this anime series.
As previously reported, it has been noted that main staff from season 1 of "Assassination Classroom" are still intact, and they are back to work together for season 2. It has also been reported that "the new episodes will be directed by Seiji Kishi with scripts by Makoto Uezu. The characters will be designed by Kazuaki Morita, and animation will be handled by Studio Lerche."
"Assassination Classroom" anime series is based from the manga series written by Yusei Matsui.
On a different note, "Assassination Classroom" is on the list of the 2015 Manga Sales Ranking Top 10 (series). Crunchyroll reports that Yusei Matsui's manga is on top 4. Report states that it has doubled its sales since last year.
Figures show that in 2014, "Assassination Classroom" sold 4,622,108 copies. But this year, the manga has sold 8,605,861. Of course, the top 1 on the list is Eiichiro Oda's Manga, "One Piece."
