Eva Mendes sells Los Angeles home for $1.27 million

Eva Mendes, the beautiful "Hitch" actress has reportedly sold off her home in Hollywood Hills for $1.27 million.

Mendes purchased the home with her former boyfriend George Gargurevich in 2002 for $584,000. She spent a considerable amount of 'moolah' re-doing the place. The home was her solace when she broke up with Gargurevich.

But now that she has started dating "Notebook" actor Ryan Gosling and also moved into a bigger, four-bedroom home in the neighborhood, she can afford to do away with the property.

Mendes listed her starter home in Hollywood Hills just a month back and it sold for $ 9,630 more than the $1.26 million asking price.

Listing records of the home state that the place spans an area of 1,732 square feet and is comprised of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The house offers panoramic views of the city and the mountains. Boasting a contemporary architecture, the interiors feature large glass slider doors and floor-to-ceiling windows, high drywall ceilings and hardwood and tiled flooring.

The listing describes the place as a, "Dramatic Mid Century sanctuary" that has "Artful pockets of space" that are perfect for entertaining guests.

Mendes now lives in a 3,779-square-foot Mediterranean home in Los Feliz. In fact, Gosling hangs around there a lot. Her new home has a large screening room too.

A few months ago there were rumors of Mendes and Gosling having trouble in their relationship.

"There was a realization before Thanksgiving that they took things way too fast and were rushing toward a marriage that neither of them particularly needed. They've decided to take a break to reevaluate their romance," Sunday Express quoted a source citing Radar Online.

However, now several tabloids are assuring that the two are stronger than ever and are going steady. A source confirmed to E!Online that the breakup speculations were just rumors.
