"Teen Mom" star Maci Bookout has just launched her clothing line in collaboration with her partner Taylor McKinney. Called "TTM Lifestyle Clothing," short for "Things That Matter," the line is receiving backlash from outraged fans over its steep prices and small sizes, Radar Online reports.
Bookout announced the line's launch on Instagram last Nov. 27, in time for Black Friday.
"The Official Launch of our clothing TTM Lifestyle is happening at midnight," she wrote on the caption. "Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy Things That Matter!"
The apparel brand boasts of being "handcrafted," and features laid-back, comfortable tees for men and women. However, "Teen Mom" fans immediately voiced their strong opinions against Bookout's collection, complaining about the small sizes and their expensive prices.
All shirts for women are labeled as "Slim Fit," and the sizes range from extra small to medium only.
"Why do your tops only go to a size medium?? I'm at an average weight but i cant pull off mediums lol not all anyway. A wider size selection would be nice," one fan commented.
Another noted that the small sizes only made girls "self-conscious."
Others took notice of the shirts' steep prices. A tank top for women is priced at $42, while a plain white cotton tee sells for $46. The online store has an on-going 50 percent off promo, but fans still complained.
"I love Maci, but I'm sorry $40 bucks for a tank top is outrageous," a fan wrote.
"I wouldn't buy these cloths even at half off," another added.
However, it looks like the reality star still has a lot of fans, as four of the line's designs are already marked as "sold out."
Bookout, 24, and McKinney, 26 have one child together named Jayde Carter McKinney, born May this year. Bookout had her first child when she was 16, and was featured on MTV's "16 and Pregnant."
