Mercedes-AMG 2015 World Champion Limited Edition Features Electronic Sports Seats; 1-62mph in 4.2 Seconds Comes January-May 2016

Mercedes-AMG A45 AMG, the 2015 World Champion Edition, was presented following the world championship celebration.

Mercedes-AMG chief executive officer Tobias Moers, told Daimler that they thought of sharing their pride and joy in the remarkable performance of PETRONAS Formula One team with their customers, a nice way to share the victory of Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton as well.

The Mercedes-AMG special edition hatchback, as described by Mercedes, is a "Silver Arrow meant for daily use." It comes in different exterior colors of polar silver metallic, mountain grey magno and grey metallic. The new edition has a strong resemblance with black foiling and petrol green, the same with the livery of Formula One WO6 Hybrid super model.

Mercedes-AMG special edition also has a different rear roof spoiler and front splitter. Given during the 2015 World Champion Edition, it has a large 19 inches of titanium grey wheels along with petrol green rims. Powered by 2.0 liters of turbocharged engine that can make 381 horsepower, this special edition can run from 0 up to 62 mph in just a matter of 4.2 seconds. Mercedes-AMG special edition comes with front axle differential lock and is an all-wheel drive, Top Speed reported.

Inside the Mercedes-AMG special edition cabin features the interiors that come with a racing theme and high-quality atmosphere. A petrol green accents and PETRONAS Formula One badging can be seen throughout this cabin. There are also sports seats in the Mercedes-AMG special edition that are electronically adjustable with microfiber or leather upholstery and designed with stripes. A petrol green accent is stitched on the dashboard and arm rests.

Mercedes-AMG 2015 World Champion Edition will be sold at a price of $69, 216. 34 and available with the following: AMG Dynamic Plus, AMG Exclusive and Night packages. The release date is set in January 2016 and available until May 2016 only.
