Naya Rivera, the "Glee" star, recently opened up doors of her new Los Feliz digs to InStyle Magazine and showed off some chic interiors.
Rivera purchased the home for $2.6 million last year. The residence spans an area of 4,158 square feet and comprises of five bedrooms and four full bathrooms. Featuring an east-coast style architecture, the house has various luxury amenities like a spa, a pool, a wet bar and a claw-foot bathtub in the master bathroom.
Rivera gave InStyle magazine a tour of her complete residence and also did a photo shoot for the publication.
"The previous owner lived here for 50 years, which I think is amazing," said Rivera. "This house has history but it has been updated, so it's light, open, and airy. It's a real dream to live in an ideal for entertaining," E!Online cites Rivera from the InStyle feature.
Rivera hired HGTV alum Angelo Surmelis to do up the house after she purchased the place. Surmelis explained that Rivera wanted a mix of both "old and new, distressed and vintage, feminine and masculine."
"Naya wanted the design to reflect her personality and to take things up a notch," Surmelis added.
Talking about what instantly drew her to the house, Rivera said, "When I saw the washer, steam washer, and two dryers I said, 'Sold!'"
Of the chic living room, Rivera said, "This is a good spot for board games and hanging out."
"A house is a house, but family and friends make a house a home," she added. She also said she loves the summer bashes in the backyard pool.
"Summer bashes are the best! Last summer I had two pool parties and all I played was Earth, Wind & Fire."
Of late, Rivera has been experiencing a rough patch in life. First her break-up with fiancé Big Sean and then her much publicized false write off from "Glee." The beautiful Latina singer has been having her ups and downs. But, the home reportedly helps her find peace.
"What does home mean to me? Peace. When I walks through the door, I let it all go," she revealed.

More recently, Rivera's rep confirmed that all rumors of her being dropped from the musical hit series were false, reports Beauty World News. "The newest story claiming that Naya Rivera was dropped from her recording contract with Columbia Records is absolutely false," the rep said adding "To be clear, any rumors or statements made as fact that Naya Rivera was fired or let go from Glee or dropped from her recording contract, are categorically false."
"Someone obviously has an agenda to damage Naya's good name and the media are failing at their duty to responsibly vet their sources and verify what is true and what is not," the rep continued "Naya's attorneys are prepared to take any and all legal action to enforce and protect her rights."
