Tyra Banks Confirms She Will Reprise Role As Eve In 'Life-Size' Sequel

Tyra Banks confirmed that she will be reprising her role as Eve in Disney Channel's "Life Size" sequel.

Banks has told Variety, "There is no one else that can play Eve but me, thank you very much!"

She added, "I'm just joking with you, but yes, I am going to be Eve."

Aside from reprising her role as Eve, Banks will also serve as an executive producer as reported by Hollywood Life. Tyra shared, "We have gotten many drafts of scripts, and the one thing I can say is that to the Disney Channel executives, Life-Size is so precious."

The "America's Next Top Model" host also shared that "Life Size" is like Disney Channel's baby "so they just want it perfect. They keep re-doing it, and re-doing it, and re-doing the script, and we are in another round of redos, and we're hoping for Christmas 2016."

The original "Life Size" is about a Barbie-like doll named Eve, who is then played by Banks that comes to life when a grieving little girl, played by Lindsay Lohan, accidentally cast a spell on the doll in her attempt to resurrect her dead mother.

According to PEOPLE, as for further casting, specifically Lohan, there is no involvement yet nor any talks if it is possible for her to reprise her role as well. Banks explained that "We have not talked about casting at all so I have no idea who is going to be the young person that will be the owner of Eve. We haven't gotten to that."

The "Fab Life" host revealed that "Life Size" is most likely to premiere in 2016 as Tyra said, "We're looking at it as a holiday movie so hopefully holiday 2016."

Banks added that "I think 'Life-Size' is so popular that it can be a feature film because it has such a cult following, so I'm really interested to see what the ratings are going to do for that. I think it's going to be a blockbuster on TV."
