Many believe that "Star Wars: Battlefront" will not outperform "Call of Duty Black Ops 3" in terms of sales.
As previously reported, Electronic Arts proudly announced that "Star Wars: Battlefront" I is the "largest digital launch" in the company's history. Moreover, VideoGamer, has also reported that "Battlefront" has sold 117 percent more copies within launch week than previous title, " Star Wars: The Force Unleashed." EA reportedly has not shared the exact sales figures but the latest "Star Wars" game is said to be the fourth biggest launch of 2015, falling behind "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."
According to Gaming Bolt, "Star Wars: Battlefront" may be very successful after it was launched and it looks like it is on track in terms of hitting the target numbers set by publisher Electronic Arts. But an analyst in the gaming industry is not convinced that the "Star Wars" title would ever outperform "Call of Duty Black Ops 3." Michael Pachter has shared his views that are backed by sales numbers in his podcast, the Pachter Factor.
He said, "Star Wars Battlefront, (next-gen only) is gonna be outsold by Call of Duty, according to NPD, in the month of November." He also honestly said that he doesn't think "Star Wars: Battlefront" is as bad as a game as others claim it is but has pointed out that the popularity of the "Call of Duty" franchise is the selling point of "Call of Duty Black Ops 3"
Despite the game's success, someone has publicly come forward to say that the game is bad. Previously, according to GameSpot, Breaking Benjamin frontman Benjamin Burnley was reported to have destroyed a copy of "Star Wars Battlefront" and has called it a piece of shit.
