'Digimon Adventure Tri' News: Key Visual of the 2nd Film Unveiled for Ketsui

"Digimon Adventure Tri" second film has released its key visual on its official website. It has also been disclosed the date of its theatrical release.

Fans are really hungry for more updates of the much awaited 2nd film of "Digimon Adventure Tri." Gladly, Crunchyroll reports that "Digimon Adventure Tri" is already scheduled to have a "limited theatrical run of the second part of the 15th anniversary anime on March 12, 2016."

Fandom Post also says that the home video of "Digimon Adventure Tri: Ketsu" will also be released soon after its theatrical release in Japan theaters. It is anticipated to be available in the market on April 2, 2016.

It has also been noted that for this specific installment of "Digimon Adventure Tri" film series, the animated movie will run for 75 minutes. Obviously, it's just five minutes short from "Saikai."

"It's been six years since that summer adventure when Taichi "Tai" Yagami and the rest of the DigiDestined crossed over to the Digital World. And nearly three years have passed since the final battle between Hikari Yagami's group and BelialVamdemon. As the peaceful days passed by, at some point the gate to the Digital World closed. Not even the DigiDestined know what caused this, and time alone continues to pass. On one such day, a Kuwagamon suddenly appears in Odaiba. Its rampage leaves the town in ruins, and the people there in turmoil. Taichi happens to catch sight of the Kuwagamon, and he chases after it all by himself in an effort to halt its rampage. But there's nothing he can do against a Kuwagamon."

According to Anime News Network, "Digimon Adventure Tri" anime series' first 4 episodes are already streaming on Crunchyroll for its avid audience in "United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America." The 5th episode onwards of the anime series will be streamed sometime in winter 2016.
