Many things were revealed at the 2015 PlayStation Experience and among those that have been announced is the Awakening DLC pack for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3."
During the Sony PlayStation Event, Activision and Treyarch officially announced the first of the four DLC Map Packs to come for the shooter game that launched last Nov 6. According to Design and Trend, the Awakening DLC pack will be available on PlayStation 4 ahead of other ports. The said DLC Map Packs will introduce four new multiplayer maps and one new bonus Zombies map.
According to Video Games Blogger, the four "Call of Duty Black Ops 3" DLC Map packs will be released at least a month ahead of the PC or Xbox One versions of the game. Thus the release dates are as follows, all being tentative except for the Map Pack 1, "The Awakening" DLC pack.

According to the PlayStation store, the map packs will unlock on release dates for those who have purchased the seasonal pass. Along with the first DLC Map Pack the Nuk3town Bonus Map will unlock on Jan. 26.
Nuk3town Bonus Map is a treat for those who pre-ordered the game. And the description in the PlayStation store says, "NUK3TOWN is back! This fan favorite map has been re-designed from the ground up to highlight Treyarch's new momentum-based, chained-movement system, allowing players to battle in this adrenaline-charged new NUK3TOWN map. Set in the year 2065, players will experience a fresh take on this classic run-and-gun, close-quarters multiplayer map."
"Call of Duty Black Ops 3" is currently available on PS 4, Xbox One and PC. The Bonus Maps and the DLC Map Packs will not be offered on PlayStation 3.
